Hi!
I’m McKenzie, an architectural designer and illustrator from Portland, Oregon, with a lifelong love of drawing and all things creative. I grew up taking art classes on the Oregon Coast, and much of my work is inspired by the memories, places, and everyday scenes that shaped me. After studying Public Policy at USC and earning my Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon, I found my sweet spot in creating art that blends nostalgia, storytelling, and a strong sense of place.
My background in architecture has shaped not only my ability to create imagined worlds, spaces, and scenes, but also my flexibility in moving between different software and ways of working. My work is typically hand-drawn and animated using Adobe Fresco on the iPad, but if you have a project that requires a 3D base or a different format, let’s chat about the possibilities.
